The All Seeing Lore

I was out shopping over the weekend and saw another shopper in a dress that I thought was just fabulous… from the TAG Gacha Event, created by -Pixicat-, called the All-Seeing Dress. My Absence from My Blog

As some of you know, and some of you who don’t… Some weeks back I had a pretty bad heart attack, presented none of the classic symptoms, and walked around with it for an unknown amount of time. Apparently, a lot of time, women do not show the classic symptoms of a heart attack. So, *please*, my friends, regardless of your gender… if anything out of the ordinary is going on, go get checked!!

So… over the course of things the last few weeks, before surgery, my heart was having rhythm problems. Twice, they had to shock me and do chest compressions. I spent a whole week in CCU, had a triple bypass on Aug 31st, and now have a pacemaker and defibrillator as well. Through everything, I have gained a huge new appreciation for nurses and all that they do.

I’ve not been able to get in to SL in some weeks now, I am currently on several medications that make me dizzy and/or blur my vision. Moving around in SL or any other game like environment makes for some serious motion sickness. The side effects are getting better each day. I am also getting around better each day, I just have to be careful to not overdo it. Unfortunately, I also got a couple of bed sores on my lower back in the hospital but they are getting better now too. Today’s big improvement is in my walking. I am MUCH steadier on my feet today, so I’m going to kick up the walking a little notch.

There are so many people I owe apologies to for the things I’ve missed, the various fashion weeks, events etc. So many people I owe thanks to for caring and keeping up with how I’ve been doing. It’s really been truly overwhelming the support everyone has shown. I just had no idea. The words “thank you” seem poor and inadequate.

UPDATE: for those who follow my blog, thank you. I am getting better day by day, going to Cardiac Rehab three times a week, doing extra exercises at home. I’m still working on getting my stamina up, so I am prone to napping at random times. But, I will be starting to blog again! 🙂
